FINANCE MANAGER

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support the organization's continued growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, strengthening internal controls, optimizing working capital, driving financial performance, and providing strategic financial leadership to the business.

Key Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the finance function and providing strategic financial guidance to management.
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
- Optimizing cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory management.
- Managing banking relationships and financing facilities, including overdrafts, letters of credit, import finance, and bank guarantees.
- Monitoring foreign exchange exposure and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring full compliance with all statutory and tax requirements, including VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax, and other regulatory obligations.
- Coordinating internal and external audits while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Driving continuous improvement of finance processes, ERP/SAP utilization, and financial reporting systems.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to achieve high performance.
- Partnering with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Executive Management to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is mandatory.
- A Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years' progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, trading, manufacturing, or other operational businesses will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls.
- Experience using ERP systems especially SAP or similar enterprise financial systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
