Regional HSSEQ Manager

About the role

Client is seeking a Regional Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) Manager to lead HSSEQ programmes across its transport and logistics operations. The successful candidate will drive regulatory compliance, manage operational risks and strengthen a culture of safety, environmental responsibility and quality across employees and contractors. to handle the communication and lead to multiple operation that include- Chemical, Reagents, Terminal, Aviation, Trucking, Warehousing

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and monitor HSSEQ policies, procedures and programmes to support safe operations and the company's zero-accident goal.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and client requirements, including timely licence and certificate renewals.
  • Support an integrated management system aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections, implement controls and address unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Report and investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain a risk-based audit schedule and follow up improvement actions.
  • Deliver HSSEQ training and regular toolbox talks to strengthen employee and contractor competence.
  • Maintain emergency preparedness through drills, equipment inspections and response planning.
  • Oversee safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste through authorised service providers.
  • Ensure appropriate security measures for company assets, employees and visitors.
  • Maintain HSSEQ records, monitor performance indicators and submit monthly management reports.
  • Work with departments, contractors and stakeholders to improve HSSEQ performance.
  • Strong knowledge of HSSEQ principles, regulatory requirements and transport and logistics best practices, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Ability to coordinate risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and emergency preparedness activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, training and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to analyse performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Minimum academic qualification: NOSHC 1 OR 2, NEBOSH, Internal audit
  • Professional certification: Internation Cyanide Management Code( ICMC)
  • Relevant experience: Not less than 5 years of experience in Managerial position
